WEEKLY REPORT OF THE SECOND PHASE OF TEACHING PRACTISE- THIRD WEEK

Third week was one of the most happening of the weeks, with so much things happening in the school. I was glad that I could participate in such functions in school. I continued with my classes in the ninth standard. Lesson plans and moving in a good pace and I administered diagnostic test on Friday. On Tuesday, the Vidyarangam Kala-Sahitya vedi inauguration happened in the school auditorium. The poet Arun Kumar was the chief guest of the day. All the students of class eight, nine and ten along with the teachers and the non teaching staffs of the school attended. I was glad that I could be a part of it.

On Wednesday, an educational strike was announced by KSU in Kollam district. I went to school as usual and signed. Students also came to school anyway, but the strike holders came and asked to let the students go to their homes. The day was rather dull as there were no students and classes going on and I took home an important lesson that students are the soul of schools.

The National Moon day was celebrated in the school on Thursday. An elaborate assembly was held. it started off with prayer, followed by the principal's talk. Some of the students came dressed up like Kalpana Chawla and Neil Armstrong. The lower primary students came with the models of rockets. It was a delightful experience to watch it all.

On the last day of the week, I conducted diagnostic test for the class IX A. One more week at school has passed and more experiences have come my way, for all of which I am grateful in all sense of the term. I have become closer to my peers, the students and to the school environment.

I am looking up to all the experiences that can possibly come my way in the following week.
